Coyote Snares
Finding coyote snares that work is serious business. You spend time searching, then you go through a lot of work getting them ready, scouting, then setting them up. Coyote snaring is an art. Knowing much on how to catch them with snares is one thing, but to use snares that are built right is another. Please consider how our snares will work for you. Snares made specifically just for coyotes is a key tip when trying to catch these wiley canines. They vary in size depending on your geographical location. A good all around setting to use is a 10"-11" loop about 10" to 12" off the ground. Due to state's restrictions, sometimes you have to go smaller. If so, that works too. Many coyotes have been snared with 8" size loops only 6" off the ground. A popular setting is a 12" loop about 12" off the ground.
Fox Snares
Custom fox snares are a much better choice than a "do it all" snare. When you receive our fox snares, you'll be certain to receive customized snares that are special made just for fox. Whether the fox you are going to snare are red fox or grey fox, these snares work excellent for either species. Fox snaring is not a hard task to do if you know a few key tips. One of them is knowing the size loop to use, the height of the loop and how to anchor and support them. One universal loop size would be 8" and bottom of the loop about be 8" off the ground. Fox vary in size and some grey fox are snared with a loop size of 6" about 6" off the ground. The size vary depending on what part of the country you are at.
Fox are not only a valuable renewable resource for their fur, but are quickly becoming a nuisance. They will raid your yard for kittens, chickens and other animals you are raising. Using our fox snares is a productive way of removing them from your yard.
