I offer a line of high quality heavy duty galvanized
swivels.  Galvanized swivels offer more durability and
strength than annealed black swivels.  These swivels
are offered in #11 or #9 gauge and each allow nice
swiveling action at the stake end.  The eye will also
allow the use of up to a 5/8" trap stake.  These are
well made and ready for the line!

Slide Rigs

What is a Slide Rig?

Slide rigs are most often used in water sets for traps, but can be used with snares was well...and on dry land.  They are mostly used by anchoring the top loop near the set... like a dam cross over, pocket set or slide set, with a trap stake.  The opposite end is secured in deeper water either with weight like sand bags filled with debris/rocks or can be secured with a trap stake and sometimes a disposable anchor.  A trap or snare is attached to the L-lock.  When animal gets snared or trapped, it starts to struggle and the L-lock will only slide one direction, towards deeper water which dispatches your catch and hides it from view to not attract any attention.

These Slide Rigs are made from 6 or 10 ft. of 7x19
1/8" galvanized cable & adjustable loops on both ends.
They can be used as a drowner rig to deeper water for
most water animals:  mink, otter, beaver & raccoon.
Snares or traps can be attached to the drowner lock.
These snares are made from 7x19 cable because it is
more limp and pliable as it is easier to work with
because it's more like rope.  It is also less
susceptible to kinks and is much better to use over
the stiffer 7x7 cable.  It is a larger 1/8" cable over
it's smaller counterpart, the 3/32".  1/8" is durable
and very strong.  Can be used on dry land to slide
your catch out of view to the public or thieves.
